The position
We are looking for a Facility Interior Project Coordinator / Project Manager to join us for an assignment with one of our clients in Kalundborg. The client is seeking a skilled professional who can take ownership of facility interior-related activities and support the successful planning, coordination, and implementation of workplace and interior solutions. The role combines project coordination, stakeholder management, workplace design, and technical documentation, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of design, facilities, and project execution.

As Facility Interior Project Coordinator / Project Manager, your main tasks will include:
- Supporting the client’s project management team with interior and facility-related project tasks
- Advising on furniture strategy, design direction, colour concepts, and workplace solutions
- Contributing to risk management, planning, and project coordination
- Acting as a sparring partner for project managers, stakeholders, and end users
- Helping implement new ways of working and workplace concepts
- Preparing and updating 2D plans, 3D models, furniture layouts, and inventory drawings
- Extracting data from MEL, 3D models, or other project documentation for procurement purposes
- Supporting work with MEL and related project data
- Assisting with end-user workshops, input collection, and follow-up
- Coordinating with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure progress, quality, and alignment
Your profile
We are looking for someone who combines project coordination skills with a good understanding of interior design, furniture planning, and workplace environments. You are structured, communicative, and able to translate ideas, requirements, and user input into clear plans and practical solutions.
You take ownership of your tasks, follow up proactively, and understand the importance of documentation, stakeholder management, and risk awareness in a project setting. You are comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider project team.
a) Education
Relevant education for this position may include:
- Interior design, architecture, building design, facility management, construction management, or similar
- Equivalent practical experience may also be relevant, depending on your background.
b) Experience
We expect that you have experience with some of the following areas:
- Facility interior projects, workplace design, or furniture planning
- Project coordination or project management in a client-facing environment
- Preparing or updating 2D drawings, 3D models, layouts, and inventory documentation
- Working with furniture concepts, colour schemes, and workplace solutions
- Facilitating or supporting workshops with end users or stakeholders
- Experience with MEL
c) Competences
To succeed in this role, it is important that you:

- Communicate clearly with project managers, clients, suppliers, and end users
- Can turn user needs and design input into practical project documentation
- Have a good eye for furniture, space planning, design, and functionality
- Are confident working with drawings, models, data, and procurement input
