The FACS Facility at BRIC is looking for Laboratory Assistant. The position is to commence 3 August 2026 and is at 10 hours per week.
About us
The FACS Facility at BRIC is a joint effort between BRIC, the Finsen Lab and the Bartholin Institute and offers flow cytometry and FACS services to students and researchers at the Faculty of Health.
The different job tasks will be:
Essential experience and skills:
The employment is made in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Organisations of Public Employees – governmental institutions (the OAO-S collective agreement) and the Professional Agreement for clerical employees, laboratory technicians and IT officers in the state.
The average working hours are 10 hours pr. Week to commence 3 August 2026. Your employment will be at the FACS Facility at BRIC, University of Copenhagen, located in the Copenhagen Biocentre.

- Clean up in the FACS facility
- Starting up the machines
- Preparation of buffers
- Autoclaving
- Assist in sample collection
Essential experience and skills:
- You must be good at working independently and organized, and be self-motivated
- Have good interpersonal and communication skills in English; spoken as written
- You should preferably be present at the Biocentre every weekday.
